Gestures and Language of Science (About Nonverbal Communication Accompanying Scientific Discourse of Czech Speaking Scientists)

Abstract

The contribution analyses co-speech gestures used by selected Czech speaking scientists during scientific talk. The analysis concentrates on conceptualization of time, conceptualization of production and reception of the speech, evaluation, and communicative perspective.
