Abstract
The article deals with the theme of boredom of Czech pupils in school. It defines the term boredom in both professional and layman understanding.
It analyses the causes and effects of boredom. It presents the results of research about: Who is bored in school and in which subjects are the pupils most bored? The article is of professionally popularizing nature, draws from the long-term research of the author.
