The article deals with investigative hypnosis as a criminalistic method used by police bodies, the aim of which is to renew a memory trace in suspects, the aggrieved parties, and witnesses. The article first focusees on psychological aspects, the possible effects and conditions for inducing hypnosis.
Based on the conclusions made in part one, the author then focuses on legal aspects of using this criminalistic method, taken into account foreign lehgislations as well.
