The presentation introduces a project targeting Roma children and their families within the communities or villages in rural and suburb areas on the Northeast parts of the Czech republic. The project aims to organize and run daily clubs for low income and empowered families of Roma children.
The task is to enable Roma families to have and access to various social services and to work with their preschool age children aged between 3 - 5 to help them reach the cognitive and social skills level of standards expected in regular mainstream kindergartens. Special interest of this project is in evaluation the good practice of professional mentoring for a caregivers working in the daily clubs.
