Philosophy of Imaginary Things

Publication at Faculty of Humanities |
2017

Abstract

This book deals with imaginary things traditionally called as 'artworks'. From the pre-historic La Grotte Chauvet until to contemporary works of indigene cultures of Australia it analyzes twenty samples of such things and unveils their philosophical relevant structures considering perspectives of other disciplines.

On the basis of the results of these investigations final questions will be asked and answered: against the background of an oikological philosophy there will be shown how the time-spatial form of human existence as an In-between will be unfold by relations of the human living body.
