In the article called Everyday walk as a scientific method. Journey south following the steps of Karel Hynek Mácha in the time of normalisation, literary historian and theorist Libuše Heczková and film theorist Kateřina Svatoňová return to the journey in the footsteps of K.

H. Mácha as described his diary entries, which was undertaken by literary theorist Růžena Grebeníčková in the period of severe political "normalisation" after the Soviet invasion to Czechoslovakia in 1968.

This journey was carried out as a literary-theoretical and historical challenge of understanding the suspended meanings in Mácha's diary, the everydayness which he recorded and which, as Grebeníčková clearly showed, was later reflected in his work. Grebeníčková's points of departure also contained the radicalism of revolutionary formalism with its constant movement and a conscious destabilisation of perspective.
