Abstract
The environmental impacts of the surface-mining coal industry are evaluated by GIS and remote sensing. The attached study is focused on the relationship between land cover changes and environmental impacts in the area of interest using multispectral satellite images from Landsat5, Landsat 7 and Landsat 8.
