Abstract
Based on study of type specimens, seven species of Solenostoma Mitt. are reduced to synonymy. Among them, Solenostoma caoi (C.Gao et X.L.Bai) Yana et D.G.Long is a new synonym of Solenostoma appressifolium (Mitt.) Valia et D.G.Long, Solenostoma microrevolutum (C.Gao et X.L.Bai) Valia et D.G.Long is a new synonym of Solenostoma atrorevolutum (Grolle ex Amakawa) Yana et D.G.Long, Solenostoma zengii (C.Gao et X.L.Bai) Vatia et D.G.Long, Solenostoma purpuratum (Mitt.) Steph. var. koponenii Bakalin et Li and Solenostoma sichuanicum Bakalin et Li are new synonyms of Solenostoma pyriflorum Steph., Solenostoma microphyllum C.Gao is a new synonym of Solenostoma pyriflorum var. minutissimum (Amakawa) Bakalin, and Solenostoma gongshanense (C.Gao et J.Sun) Yana et D.G.Long is a new synonym of Solenostoma sikkimense (Steph.) Yana et D.G.Long.
