Abstract
The book chapter analyses a case of a birthing woman who left a maternity hospital with her healthy newborn on her own request but was forced to return to hospital a day later police who found her violating the presribed regimen of care. The text examines competing moral regimes or moral logics surrounding this case and providing an answer to a question who is to blame for such an outcome.
