Abstract
Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen devotes more and more attention to working with students with special needs. The aim of the faculty in supporting students with special needs is to enable all students and applicants for study, regardless of the nature and degree of their disability, equal access to education and comparative study conditions and support their lifelong studying.
The authors show the structure and number of students with special needs at the university. They present casuistries that are focused on supporting students with various disabilities in the course of medical studies.
