Abstract
Laparoscopic uretero-pyelostomy in children is a feasible and safe method in treatment of duplex kidney anomalies. Image magnification, medial approach to the kidney with perfect anatomical overview, enables also reconstruction in patients with vascular anomalies or kidney malrotation.
Introduction of routine insertion 5F UC at the beginning of the laparoscopic UPS was associated with lower risk of postoperative complications.
