Rhythm as Principle of a Suggestive Life : On Bergson's Ideas on the Role of Rhythmic Arrangement in Aesthetic Sensibility

Abstract

This lecture concentrates on Bergson's consideration of the meaning of rhythm in artistic suggestion. Together with an aesthetic event it can be generelly interpreted as an movement in between various levels of rhythmic tension or of multiplicity.
