The book deals with the metaphysics of relations as it was developed in the Thomistic tradition from its beginnings up till the present. It starts with Thomas Aquinas and then goes on to some thomistic authors of second scholastic (mainly John Poinsot) as well as third scholastic (J.Gredt, P.
Coffey) and it ends with some scholars of personalistic (W. N.
Clarce) and analytical thomism (S. Sousedik).
It not only describe the main features of Thomistic conception, but also analyse its problems.
