The study deals with teacher training in France. It gives a overview of its development and focuses in particular on the latest reform in 2013, which has led to the creation of University college of teaching profession and education (Ecoles supérieures du professorat et de l'éducation) - -ESPE).
These schools prepare students in a two-year study program after obtaining the first university degree for teacher examinations and the professional master's degree.
