Abstract

The last recommendation of the American Heart Association since June this year has again highlighted the negative effect of saturated fats in the diet and labeled them as one of the causes of cardiovascular disease illness. The article points out that based on the analysis of the information from the expert literature on the results of studies and meta-analysis of studies is not a relationship between saturated consumption fat and increased cardiovascular risk has been clearly demonstrated.
