Beginnings of the philosophical thinking

Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2017

Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of beginnings of the philosophical reasoning. Special attention is paid to the beginning by which the philosopher turns to an uninitiated man and tries to open before him the way to the philosophy.

In this context, the article turns to the Foucault's concept of the hermeneutics of the subject. It shows how the detachment of the spirituality and philosophy is rooted in the Descartes' Meditations and how the phenomenological tradition takes over this line of thinking.
