Abstract
Extra-anatomic stent is an alternative to permanent nefrostomy in case of subrenal obstruction. Detour is the longterm palliative ureteral bypass.
It is subcutaneous bypass from the kidney to urinary bladder, which makes good urine drainage and significantly improves quality of life patients with nefrostomy.
