Abstract
The publication titled "The Water Mills of Sedlčansko on the threshold of modernization" maps the concrete water mills of the former judicial district of Sedlčany in the second half of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century. Individual economic objects are presented in the form of a catalog.
Mills are described both in terms of their economic activity and technological developments. These aspects are embedded within the framework of general historical development.
