Abstract
This paper is concerned with the phenomenon of the so-called lone wolf terrorism and with specific aspects of terrorist attacks committed by lone actors. The author deals with the characteristic of such a terrorist and with reasons why they commit their attacks individually.
He analyzes the process of their radicalization and tries to point out the specifics of modus operandi. Finally, author also describes some possible ways to uncover a lone wolf preparing an attack.
