Several houses of prayer that served the function of parish churches were built in the royal mining town of Kutná Hora in the Middle Ages, and information concerning their property and administration is available for a majority of them. The study looks into the accounting books of four parish churches from the years 1457-1530 (St.
Barbara, St. Bartholomew, Virgin Mary in Náměť, St.
Lawrence in Kaňk) and summarises information on the fabrica ecclesiae of several other churches.
