Abstract
The European novels in the twenties of the 20th century in the Maghreb have always been up to now colonial and colonized. The French-Tunisian writer Hédi Kaddour has also invited the Americans to the scene of his novel Les Prépondérants, bringing a whole new dimension into the dialectics of the Same and the Other.
