Abstract

The lecture presented two different approaches to the translation from Latin into vernacular languages in the 17th and 18th century. On the other hand, the anonymous Czech version of the Maximilianus Wietrowsky's writings Historia S.

Joannis Nepomuceni can be perceived as a translation in the contemporary sense of the word.
