Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of contingency. The essence of contingency in itself is not something contingent.
In order to be able to encounter something as contingent, we have to encounter the essential necessity, comprehend the essential necessity. But this encountering is not something we have as an explicit knowledge; rather it functions as the visibility of something as something.
