Abstract
The study of contemporary croatian novel is focused on last twenty years. Situation of this kind of literature is very interesting, we can search historical novels (Gavran), also centomporary topics (big city and suburbs - Perišić), humoristic novels (Tomić), detective stories (Mlakić), memoirs (Bodrožić), "women's" literature (Rudan) etc.
Contemporary croatian novel has very broad spectrum of topics.
