Abstract
The aim of this article is to present basics of typography which should be known by every teacher. The attention is paid to documents of standardization, fundamental typographic rules and usage of correct mathematics signage.
There are also common mistakes and their impact to the readability discussed. All the topics are supplemented with particular examples.
