Deterioration of Spermiogram Parameters - Myth or Reality? Results of Long-term Monitoring of Men in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Professional and general public in recent years was repeatedly troubled by reports that sperm concentration is gradually reduced. This phenomenon is very likely the manifestation of negative environmental impacts on the health.

There are concerns about the decrease of detected of germ cells and also about extrapolation of the secular trend in the predicted concentration of sperm in the future.
