Abstract
The article describes the origin of the Map Collection, its development, particularly after 2000. It underwent reconstruction in 2011 - 2013.
In the years 2011 - 2015 it was intensively worked on cataloguing, digitizing and making unique funds of the collection available. Out of 130, 000 map sheets and 3, 500 atlases there was made available 65, 000 maps and atlases.
Digital map collection also allows space search and to download pictures without watermarks. The contribution also shows special content of the funds that are owned by the Collection.
In conclusion, the attention is paid to the exhibition activities and to the exhibition about Jan Felkl and Son company that made globes in Roztoky u Prahy.
