Abstract
The exhibition introduced Jaroslav Kučera, undeniably one of the most notable figures in Czechoslovak cinematography of the second half of the 20th century. However, this exhibition was not a traditional monographic one, as the main impulse for it has been the discovery of the so far unpublished bequest of Jaroslav Kučera, including paintings, collages, family film, dailies, trial takes and other material on 16mm and 35mm film, primarily photographs, negatives and slides.
