Abstract
The lesson presents update of classification, etiology, diagnostic methods and treatment of thyroid nodules. Indication criteria for fine needle aspiration cytology and usefulness ultrasound of including ultrasound risk stratification and elastography, and effectivity of molecular analysis of cytological samples are discussed.
