Abstract
The author focuses on three areas: a) the number of Deaf and hard-of-hearing students at universities in the Czech Republic, the Charles University, the Faculty of Arts and the Institute of Deaf Studies at Faculty of Arts, Charles University; b) accessibility of study support for these students; c) study of Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the perspective of the fulfillment of human rights (and relevant legislation).
