We introduce the assesing scale of Jana Veverková and Anna Kucharská (2011), adapted by us. The scale included a description of phenomena related to graphomotor and grammatical aspects of writing, including the overall error rate and work with errors.

By the means of this scale we were assessing the written expressions of 624 pupils - distributed according to the school year, handwriting style and gender. Data were colected twice of the school year (in the beginning and in the end).

Thanks to that, we have a comprehensive image of the of pupils handwriting in the Czech schools.
