On 50 years of prohibition of hunting of birds of prey with an eagle-owl

Abstract

The article introduces the anniversary of the ban of the výrovka, the traditional hunting method of extermination of birds of prey (perceived as hunting pests). The výrovka used the hostility of the day-time predators to the eagle-owl, the night -time apex predator.
