Some questions of Czech oral language morphology of Russian-language native speakers

Abstract

The article deals with the same questions of Czech language morphology acquisition of Russian-language native speakers in the Czech language environment. Specifically, there are examined characteristics of acquisition categories: personification, alternation, personal and other pronouns on the base of oral language material in comparison with general language competence, grammatical tests results and following sociology aspects such as age at the beginning of language acquisition and time of residence in the Czech Republic.

Much attention is given to typology of errors in the mentioned categories and description of compensatory strategies of Russian-language native speakers in oral language. This article views the errors and compensatory strategies not separately but as a part of a complex process of the language acquisition.
