Abstract
The article deals with the writer's relationship with Božena Vlachová, a writer about thirty-one years of younger distant relatives. He analyzes the reasons why this relationship has remained a part of Nerud's biographers.
Part of the article is the texts of the three most important letters of Božena Vlachová, the writer's friend Zdence Šemberová, describing the course of her relationship with Neruda.
