This thesis seeks to examine the intellectual resources, leadership ideas, and societal reflections in preschool education in the Czech lands within a broader historical-social context. Along with the traditional presentation of historical documents and review of facts, it examines developments and changes in Czech preschools through the stories of those who involved their ideas in to life.
Preschool is widely presented as an educational institution with lifelong impact in which the basic social, cultural, moral and spiritual values of the nation are instilled in the young generation.
