Abstrakt
The paper deals with the Mexican monastic architecture that originated in the territory of present-day Central Mexico in the 16th century with the aim to evangelize the indigenous population. Firstly, it presents this architecture and its artistic decoration and then deals with topics that are of significant interest to researchers from Central Europe.
