Publius Ovidius Naso in the medieval culture : From marginalies to the centre od literary scene

Abstract

The article summarizes the infuence of Ovidius in the medieval literature. It concentrates itself to the phenomenon of the "Renaissance of the 12th century", when Ovidius becames the most influential classical author for several decades.
