Semantic Fields (Taxa) of the Paremias with Keyword "Water" in Czech and Russian languages

Abstract

In the following article, we examine Russian and Czech paremias containing the keyword "water". The aim of the article is to suggest a comparative classification of Czech and Russian paremias with the keyword "water", based on the theory of semantic fields, within which general semantic groups (or so-called taxa) are distinguished, as well as the narrower differential attributes (sub-taxa) of the considered paremias.
