Abstract
Review of the book with the accompanying CD Family of little recorders - Who grows up here?, which was written by Václav Bratrych. It follows the musical fairy tales of the 20th century composers.
The cognitive component here introduces the musical instruments that are presented both artificially and audially, through solo inputs in the instrumental accompaniment of songs. The literary and musical component is closely interconnected, the story is placed in the environment of a close child (animals, family), and there is also an educational element.
Songs have an imaginative and distinctive melody, they are diverse in terms of tempo, tact and overall character. Instrumentation is colorful and unusually rich.
The interpretation level must also be appreciated.
