Opportunity to solve incomplete information in family lists which were compiled on the basis of studies of parish registers - use of survival analysis

Abstract
The paper presents the opportunity of using the survival analysis and processing of incomplete information obtained from the parish registers using the so-called censoring of the data obtained for the city of Jablonec and the manor of Škvorec. Censoring allows in the historical demography the highly desirable "extension" of the database, respectively work with incomplete records that must be excluded from the analysis if the classical historical demographic methods are used.
In addition, the paper presents the opportunity of using the Cox regression model, which, for example, allows to model the relationship between survival time and possible independent explanatory variables.
