Abstract
The paper contemplates Jan Hus in Masaryk's concept of religion in the context of Masaryk's concept of Czech history as well as of Masaryk's interpretation of Hus' doctrine of the Church. It is an attempt to place the figure of Jan Hus into Masaryk's concept of religion, point out the context of Masayk's grasp of Hus' contribution to the significance of the Czech history, and, in particular, to asses Masaryk's interpretation of Hus' doctrine of the Church.
