The assessment of preservation of a skeletal sample excavated from the Pohansko second church cemetery

Abstrakt
This chapter summarizes the preservation status of non-adult and adult individuals excavated from the cemetery of the second church in Pohansko between 2008 and 2012. We summarize the general preservation of the cranium, thorax, and long bones, including quantification of preserved skeletal parts such as preserved teeth and bones from the hand and foot.
We also summarize the preservation of skeletal features used for paleodemographic assessment in other parts of this volume, including preservation of measurements used in age, sex, stature, and body mass estimation. The results of this chapter can be completed using the description of preserved features and drawings of skeletal preservation shown in chapter eight.
