2018

Abstract

The book The Story of Modern Law examines modern-day transmutations of law. It presents key concepts and institutes of law in broad historical and social contexts.

The author endeavours to show how far modern law has gone in comparison with the past and what its future directions may be. The prime focus of the publication is on the theoretical underpinnings of law, its structure, content and functioning, its vantage point being legal-historical and legal-sociological.
