The stude is focused on a Czech historian Jaroslav Bidlo (1868-1937) and his close relationship to a so called Kraków historical school. Bidlo studied history at the Jagiellonian University in the academic year of 1892/1893 and personally met several important representatives of Kraków historical school.
He also translated Michał Bobrzyński' s History of Poland int Czech and continuously informed, in numerous reviews, about the development of Polish historiography. In the interwar period Bidlo took part in the efforts to establish an institutional platform for the cooperation between the Polish and Czechoslovakian historians.
