Prerequisities for Creative Act and Lie in Literature : Jan Lopatka's experience in the criticism of the 1960s

Abstract

The study deals with the first critical texts of one of the most acclaimed Czech literary critics of the 20th century, published in the Tvář magazine. It notes Lopatka's distinction of creation and writing.

The study characterizes the Lopatka's critical method as empirical and refuses to see it as characteristic of interest in so-called "authentic literature".
