Abstract

The study compares different attitudes postwar ministers of justice towards to retribution which was punishment of war criminals, traitors and collaborators. The study realizes the position of these ministers in the government thanks to postwar government record and values the process of different phases when they could enforce changes or they could not and how they react to these difficulties.

The political struggle of democrats and communists also influenced the retribution phase.
