Abstract
Aim of this publication is to describe, analyse, and popula- rise the Act No. 143/1947 Sb., on transfer of assets belonging to "Hluboká" branch of House of Schwarzenberg onto the Land of Bohemia-also known as "Lex Schwarzenberg"-to- gether with circumstances surrounding its origin and related problems that have arisen. Lex Schwarzenberg is an extra- ordinary case within Czech legal history for both its context and nature.
