Abstrakt
The chapter deals with the basics of the migration policy of the Czech Republic - the key legal document (both on the EU and the national level), their practical application and the challenges this application often generates. The issue is analysed through the prism of the migration crisis of 2015 and gives practical examples of how the Czech government has been trying to deal with the rising number of migrants coming to Europe (and potentially to the Czech Republic) and with maintaining all the legal standards and procedures.
