Abstract
The lecture at the University of the Third Age Course focused on the changes of the republicanism in the European history, especially the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Particular attention was paid to the issue of republicanism in the Czech political debate until the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic.
