Abstrakt
The chapter analyses the role of the key institutions on the national level - the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Police of the Czech Republic, etc. - in dealing with various legal and practical issues related to migration to the Czech Republic. Questions such as asylum procedure, migrant detention centres, rights of migrants/asylum seekers, the deportation process etc., are analysed in depth.
The chapter is a part of a monograph that discusses the situation in Central Europe (V4 countries) and their reaction to the migration crisis of 2015).
